Bill worked in the Milwaukee business community for more than 30 years before retiring in 2011. Most of his career was spent as Managing Director at Mason Wells, the largest private equity firm in Wisconsin. Bill worked with management teams of small to medium sized companies to help them grow and improve. Bill has redirected his efforts to bring a business approach to reduce chronic unemployment and underemployment in Milwaukee. In 2013, he formed Milwaukee Community Business Collaborative, Inc. to bring a new pathway towards sustainable employment for motivated central city residents.

Michael is a business owner with experience in clerical, janitorial, light assembly, warehouse operations and distribution center management. He also offers extensive knowledge in human resource management and career development for major corporations.

Rodney is a Milwaukee native, UW-Milwaukee Business School graduate and a seasoned Sales Management professional. He spent the past 25 years in for profit large, anchor institution sales representing Fortune 100 companies such as Sprint, Xerox and Ameritech. Rodney recently spent 12 years managing Sprint’s corporate B2B sales organization for Wisconsin. His professional background, especially his Branch Management experience, provides him a unique insight into successfully operating a small business while meeting the business needs and requirements of the larger anchor institutions. He possesses a passion for seeing significant economic and employment improvement in the city of Milwaukee and is excited to utilize his extensive business background to help make meaningful strides in these areas.

Jerry brings a good mix of experience in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors. He has an Associate degree in Industrial Engineering and has worked for more than 20 years at several manufacturing and distribution companies gaining experience in quality engineering, technical support and customer relations. More recently, Jerry has worked for the YWCA and Esperanza Unida, where his roles included coaching individuals seeking employment and developing / coordinating transitional job sites.

Brittany brings several years of nonprofit experience, specializing in workforce and economic development. She is a Milwaukee native and graduate of UW-Milwaukee, holding a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. She has worked on many projects targeting social mobility through the use of workforce development, most recently providing services for Burleigh Street Community Development Corporation and Havenwoods Economic Development Corporation.
Employment Support Specialist
Jose is a business professional with more than 12 years of experience in workforce development where he was responsible for developing and interacting with local businesses to identify job placement and career advancement opportunities for individuals with employment challenges. He also brings experience in the manufacturing sector where he worked in maintenance and inventory control. Jose is a Chicago native who relocated to Wisconsin and is fluent in Spanish.
